If you can make it here, you can make it anywhere.....

We ended our stay in Bar Harbor with a ranger led program called Sand Beach Under the Stars.  It started at 9:00 p.m. and consisted of laying on the beach in the dark listening to a ranger explain the night time sky to us.  It was awesome!

Not a great picture, but it was dark and an iphone can only do so much.

We were sad to leave the peace and tranquility of Maine, but it was time to move to the hustle and bustle of NYC!  Two more states checked off the list.

We arrived late in the evening to Secaucus, NJ, where our hotel is located, just across the river from Manhattan.  We decided to rest and get up the next morning to head to the Big Apple.

Day one was filled with big eyes, excited faces and tired feet!!

We started off with the hop on hop off double decker bus tour.  It is a good way to see many sites with not too much walking.

My favorite NYC building the "Flatiron"

We got off at Central Park and found some Beatles "points of interest"

Another great way to get around the city...the subway.

They tried to make the sad faces...they really were having a good time!  Not so much for the guy next to Thomas!

He pooped out at the end....

Ended the day with dinner at a "famous place"!  Rose even attacked the pastrami sandwich!

                                                             One of New York's Finest
